Il nome prende spunto da una raccolta di poesie di Tito Balestra: “Se hai una montagna di neve tienila all’ombra”; titolo usato anche da Elisabetta Sgarbi per un libro ed un film che indagano il significato di cultura nel nostro Paese. Se hai qualcosa di delicato fra le mani e sai in che modo proteggerlo, fallo!
Ci sembrava appropriato, per ciò che vorremmo diventare: un contenitore di tutto ciò che, secondo noi, è cultura italiana e che, in quanto tale, va protetto.
Nel tempo riempiremo tanti barattoli di storie, spunti, esperienze che narrano di un’Italia positiva che fa, che pensa, che crea, che collabora in modo fecondo con altre realtà, anche straniere.

mountain of snow, keep it in the shadow”). Elisabetta Sgarbi used the same
title for a book and a film talking about the meaning of the culture in our
country. If you have something delicate and you know how to protect it, do it!
It suits what we would like to be: a
holder for everything is culture, for everything needs to be protected. For
histories, inspirations, experiences. Showing a positive country, people
thinking, creating, willing to cooperate and share.
